The 6MW DC Energy Storage Container Project in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province is located in Lingshou County, Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang City. The project is led by the Shiyan Oregon team responsible for the research and development, production, testing, and grid connection debugging of the battery system and battery compartment system.
The energy storage battery system equipment adopts an integrated container design, consisting of two sets of 3MWh DC battery compartments. The container adopts a modular design, with a clear structure and complete functions. It also has an independent self power supply system, temperature control system, self operation monitoring system, fire detection and alarm system, fire protection system, and safety guarantee system. It supports EMS intelligent management, meets the two-way interaction function of source network load storage, and meets the requirements of power grid scheduling.
The project was successfully connected to the grid in 2023, and through peak shaving and valley filling, as well as smoothing the output characteristic curve, it greatly alleviated the pressure of provincial peak shaving.
