In 2022, Haining Jianshan Hengfa Energy Storage Station was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The energy storage station project is located in Huangwan Town, Haining City, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, covering an area of about 20 acres. The total installed capacity of the project is 55MW/110MWh, divided into two construction stages. The initial construction capacity is 10MW/20MWh, and the long-term planned construction capacity is 60MW/120MWh. After the project is put into operation, it is expected that the annual charging and discharging will reach 37.4 million kWh, which can increase the consumption level of new energy photovoltaics by more than 30%.
The new energy storage project on the grid side is produced by the Oregon(Shiyan) Amperex Technology team. The production design adopts a lithium iron phosphate liquid cooled battery energy storage system, and adopts a modular concept and outdoor layout of cabin equipment. After the completion of the project, it can fill the regional power shortage of the Zhejiang power grid, enhance the grid's ability to regulate peak load, frequency, and consume new energy, enhance the flexibility and stability of the grid, and become an important node support for the diversified and highly elastic grid in Zhejiang.
